As we all know it’s outstanding to finally walk across that high school stage and receive your diploma
Even though you have an idea of what you want to do later in life to earn a steady income, you might want to consider alternative options as well. It’s fine to attend music colleges with a career as a violinist in mind, but it may not work out that way. Now don’t get me wrong here. I’m not telling you to discard your dreams. I’m only saying that you may wish to put some focus on other studies. Maybe you wish to acquire a double major. This is feasible at music colleges, just like it is at a number of Universities. Or, you could also focus a couple minors on other subjects like English or Biology. It’s just something to keep in mind when you tackle that four-year University.
I have to admit that I’ve only known one individual in my life that applied to music colleges. Most people are so busy applying to Universities that that focus on law degrees or accounting. Typically music colleges are not as common in the “real world.” Not to say that there aren’t plenty to choose from. If you get online, you will soon see that there are many well-known and reputable music colleges to help you achieve those dreams. The key is in the follow-through.
