b) Trying out each instrument – some music store owners are very harsh and don’t let you touch the music instrument unless and until you buy it. However, there are some other music stores which let you the instruments to observe the sound they produce. Pick the instrument which produces the sound that pleases your soul.

c) The sound produced by the instrument should also match with the personality of the individual. Shy and silent persons should do well with instruments producing soft sounds and the same type of reasoning holds well with tough persons.

d) You will also need to consider the money that you will have to spend on purchase and subsequent maintenance of the musical instrument.

e) Instruments should also be selected depending on the surrounding in which they will be played so as to prevent inconvenience to the people around you.
